San José, Costa Rica, Tuesday, December 6, 2022. 400 thousand people affiliated with the country's solidarity associations will be able to organize their finances, know the details of their credit behavior and their debt levels, through the Equifax 360 Credit Report and Score .

This will be possible thanks to a strategic alliance between Equifax, a global leader in data, analytics and technology, and the Costa Rican company that develops software for solidarity associations Quarzo, whose purpose is the exchange of credit information focused on this sector.

Costa Rica currently has nearly 1,400 solidarity associations. Of the total salaried population, around 23% participate in a solidarity association, which represents around 400,000 people. Solidarity Associations provide benefits that are not only for members but also for their families.

Belonging to a Solidarity Association allows the associated person to ensure permanent, secure savings without unemployment limits. Together, your personal savings and the employer contribution allow you to plan your future through annual profits or surpluses.

Precisely, the 360 Credit Report will make it easier for solidarity members who require credit to know how their financial health is, their level of debt or the status of previous loans.

In the first stage of this alliance, Equifax will make the 360 Credit Report available to solidarity members, which will be integrated into the ASOEXPRESS portal, where associates carry out transactions daily. This integration includes the InterConnect decision engine. This is a cloud-based decision platform that allows you to quickly and safely evaluate (in less than 10 seconds) the credit and risk conditions of new applications.

César Calomino, General Manager of Equifax for the Caribbean, Central America and Mexico, explained that this alliance will help solidarity people achieve their best financial capacity. “Without a doubt, the 360 Credit Report is a very useful tool for the financial health of solidarity members, who today need to take care of their finances.”

For her part, Mirela Verreli General Manager of Quarzo commented that having a 360 perspective from the solidarity sector will help Solidarity Associations and associates to be able to offer their members better conditions when granting credits, profile their members more precisely, identify opportunities based on portfolio analysis and seeking access to sustainable credit.

Quarzo is the strategic ally in the development of software for sectors such as solidarista; and has more than 500 thousand APPs downloaded and used daily by thousands of associates and clients as active consumers in the digital transformation.
